 A typical wedding shower is usually held anywhere from two months to two weeks before the wedding. However, a shower held too close to the wedding might be more of an inconvenience to the bride since she will have several last minute details to tend to. A shower may be held on any day of the week that is convenient for the guest of honor, the hostess, and the majority of the guests.
